The original artworks from "Defy the Gods" inspired by Christopher Nolan's new theatrical adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey, will be on display at Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles July 13–15, 2026. The collection brings together acclaimed pop culture artists reinterpreting Nolan's film ahead of its July 17 theatrical release.

By Nick is the working name of Nick Prodromou, a London-born artist now based in Dorset, UK. His vibrant, nostalgic paintings reimagine the cartoon worlds of his childhood through the lens of adult life, blending pop culture with personal reflection to explore themes of mental health, identity, and finding calm amid chaos.

A graduate of Camberwell College of Arts (FdA Graphic Design, 2017), Nick began his career in digital art and design, creating work and visual identities for clients including Boomerang, Sanrio, and The Slow Mo Guys. That early digital foundation still shapes his fine art practice today — a bold, graphic sensibility that infuses his paintings with clarity and colour. Since shifting his focus to fine art in 2018, he has worked across acrylic, gouache, oils, and resin, developing a distinctive style that bridges digital precision with painterly, emotional depth.
