Lino Print is a relief printmaking technique in which an artist hand-carves an image into a sheet of linoleum, removing the areas that will remain unprinted. Ink is then rolled onto the raised surface and pressed onto paper, transferring the design with bold lines, rich texture, and the unmistakable warmth of a handmade process. Because each impression is pulled by hand, every print carries subtle variations in ink and pressure — small marks of authenticity that make it distinct from mechanical reproduction.
Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery. Prints will typically ship rolled in protective tubes, though some may ship flat between sheets of sturdy cardboard depending on size, medium, and quantity purchased.
Historiart brings The Odyssey to Athens, opening 17 July at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and running through 2 August, 2026. The exhibition unites two collections in one venue — "Defy the Gods," an officially licensed print series inspired by Christopher Nolan's new theatrical adaptation of Homer's epic, and "Wrath of the Gods," a companion collection featuring original works created exclusively for Athens by Greek artists offering a personal, contemporary lens on their mythological heritage.
