Giclee printing is a high-resolution digital printing process that uses fine-art inkjet technology to spray microscopic droplets of pigment-based ink onto paper or canvas. It's prized for exceptional color accuracy, smooth gradients, and fine detail, making it the standard choice for fine art reproductions and photography prints. Pigment-based inks (as opposed to dye-based) give giclee prints strong archival quality, often lasting 100+ years with proper care and UV-protective framing.

Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery. Prints will typically ship rolled in protective tubes, though some may ship flat between sheets of sturdy cardboard depending on size, medium, and quantity purchased.

Historiart's "Defy the Gods" is an officially licensed print series created with Universal Pictures, inspired by Christopher Nolan's theatrical adaptation of The Odyssey. The collection debuts publicly in Los Angeles on July 13, then travels to the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Athens (July 17–August 2), with prints also exhibited at BFI in London and the Melbourne Museum IMAX.

Karl Fitzgerald is a London-based illustrator and concept artist known for his richly detailed, cinematic style. He has built an extensive career in officially licensed alternative movie posters, working with studios and specialty publishers including Legendary Entertainment, Lucasfilm, Paramount, Acme Archives, Curzon Cinemas, Adult Swim, Bottleneck Gallery, Grey Matter Art, Dark City Gallery, Vice Press, and Poster Spy.

His work extends well beyond film: he has created art for Ubisoft's For Honor, card and board games for Disney, Wizards of the Coast (Magic: The Gathering), Top Trumps, Ravensburger, Asmodee, Matagot, and Cubicle 7, and album and tour artwork for artists including Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Death Cab for Cutie, and Anna Calvi, as well as key art for Peaky Blinders.

Fitzgerald has a particular focus on historical and heritage-inspired artwork, collaborating with institutions such as the Leeds Royal Armouries, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and Historiart, alongside book cover work for Centipede Press, Tartarus Press, and Argo.
