Historiart brings The Odyssey to Athens, opening 17 July at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and running through 2 August, 2026. The exhibition unites two collections in one venue — "Defy the Gods," an officially licensed print series inspired by Christopher Nolan's new theatrical adaptation of Homer's epic, and "Wrath of the Gods," a companion collection featuring original works created exclusively for Athens by Greek artists offering a personal, contemporary lens on their mythological heritage.
Onita K is a freelance illustrator, comic artist and graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts. Focusing on the creation of original characters and immersive universes, her inspiration stems from the evocative mystery and aesthetics of the Victorian era, classical music and opera. Her artistic vision is also shaped by personal experiences and the people who have influenced her.
